G.W.F. Hegel – Elements of the Philosophy of Right

Samstag, Januar 12th, 2013 9:56pm

Hegel - Philosophie des RechtsThere are books you cannot avoid when you study philosophy. For sure, one of them is Hegel’s Elements of the Philosophy of Right – for Marx at least the ‘most consequent, richest and last version’ of German political philosophy. Therefore it surely needs no further explanation, why a group of interested graduate students of philosophy (but also of other fields) want to invite you to discuss Hegel’s text together in an informal round. There is hardly anything better than exposing yourself in that way to a philosophical work for a couple of days – and from experience we know that you always return enlightened in some way or another!
We will meet from the 15th to the 17th of February 2013 in an over 300 year old farmers house located on the hills above the beautiful ‘Bodensee’ that will provide plenty of space for us with its 12 beds in 6 rooms and 2 bathrooms. | Read the rest of this entry …
